Pastor Ravon & First Lady Cheryl Johnson
(Condensed BIO) “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you love also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35) Pastor Ravon was raised in Texarkana, Texas. Came to Seattle in 1977 via the US Navy. Cheryl is a native of Seattle, WA. They met 1980 and married April 1985. They have two adult children, a daughter Cherai and son RC. Pastor Ravon received Jesus Christ as savior just before his 32nd birthday in November 1987. First Lady Cheryl received Christ at the age of 12. Shortly after surrendering his heart to Christ, while attending Walker Chapel AME church, Ravon was called to proclaim the Gospel. Several years later they began attending Antioch Bible Church where they remained for 16 years working in various vocational ministry capacities. First Lady Cheryl developed one of the best and largest nursery ministry in the Pacific Northwest. Pastor Ravon worked for Crista Ministries, Promise Keepers and Antioch Bible Church as administrator of Evangelism/Missions, director of Gideon’s Posse ministry to men, and director of Antioch Global Network, a ministry focused on the development and promotion of multi-cultural churches. Co-founded Embassy Bible Fellowship Church in March of 2005. First Lady Cheryl oversees women’s ministry, children’s ministry and is the director of our outreach ministry, Embassy Life Services. Pastor Ravon serves as the primary visionary, pastor/teacher, and director of ministry to men. Pastor Ravon is also a frequent speaker at men’s events, church services, conferences, and retreats.
